Dear families,
The past two years have been a challenge for not just the world but for Saint Frances Cabrini School as well. Last year we set a very lofty goal of bridging a funding gap of $100,000 and the response was amazing! $63,000 came in last year which more than doubled our largest Annual Fund. Through some other cost saving measures we were able to bridge the gap! Whether you are an alumni, parishioner, parent or grandparent of a child attending our school now or in the past, your generosity over the years and especially last year has been a key factor in our success.
We went into this school year with a revitalized sense of mission. We unveiled our new school mission statement: “At Saint Frances Cabrini School, our Mission is to Serve as Christ served, and be Formed by the exceptional academic curriculum and the Catholic Faith.” We are getting back to our roots, being a Catholic School that serves the greater West Bend community.
We continue to provide our very own tuition assistance program to allow any family that wants a Catholic education for their child to obtain it. We also strive to keep tuition rates affordable through a very generous Saint Frances Cabrini Parish subsidy.
The current cost of educating each student at Saint Frances Cabrini School is approximately $2,250 more than the tuition being charged. Our Annual Fund helps us to bridge that gap, funding many of the school’s pressing needs. Given the unavoidable expense of keeping up with the rising labor, goods and service costs, we continue to need your support.
We realize that this year’s Annual Fund donation request is coming at a time when our parish is about to launch a major capital campaign to raise money for critical school and church improvements. There are many requests for donations right now. We are sending you this letter because we know that you have a special love for the mission of Saint Frances Cabrini School and we know that you will be supportive of our needs in the manner that best fits your personal ability to give. Our Annual Fund goal this year is $50,000. All of these monies go toward the funding of our regular operations.
Any amount that you donate toward the full funding of our Catholic school will be greatly appreciated, and will benefit our long-term stability. Contributions to the Saint Frances Cabrini School Annual Fund can be made between now and the end of the school year, in June. Thank you!
Many blessings,
Fr. Nathan Reesman, Pastor
Will Waech, Principal
"Saint Frances Cabrini is the place my family chose to send me to church and school for faith development and education. As an adult, my husband and I proudly chose to make the same decision for our own children." Sarah Heinen parent, teacher, and alumni
“Saint Frances Cabrini was the starting point for my understanding of what a strong Christian community looks like. I learned that being Catholic is about how you care for others, not simply what you believe.” Megan Kohlmann, DPT Class of 2010
"Saint Frances Cabrini has touched the hearts of many, but especially mine. I will never forget the welcoming feeling I get every time I walk into the school or church and the way people have always treated me with support and kindness." Lauren Rettler, current 8th grade student
