Third grade teacher Ann Taylor started teaching at Cabrini 25 years ago!
Mrs. Taylor is an alum of Cabrini. She is married to Jim, and they have two children, Jimmy and Hannah, who both attended Cabrini. Her sister, Mrs. Wolfe, is also a teacher here.
We're excited to share some of her thoughts as we celebrate this milestone with her!
I began teaching here in 1997. I taught until I had my two children. Then I became a stay-at-home mom for a few years before returning to teaching here.
My favorite part about teaching at St. Frances Cabrini is how it is like one big family. Everyone is there to support each other both in good times as well as in difficult times. Also, it is so fulfilling to be able to teach about my faith.
I chose to send my own children to Cabrini because of the values being taught here. The teachers put the children first and are there to love and support the students. I wanted that for my children. I wanted them to learn virtues while also getting the support and guidance of those around them.
When I am not at work I enjoy spending time with my family. We especially like to go hiking and camping - spending time in nature. My husband and I also enjoy UTV-ing.
And here's the most important information: My favorite type of ice cream is anything with chocolate in it!
Mrs. Taylor - we are blessed to have you as a teacher here. Thank you! And congratulations!
