Happy Feast of Saint Andrew! This feast day signifies the end of Ordinary Time in the church and the start of Advent. We have placed an icon of Saint Andrew on our school altar, and are serving Swedish Fish as a treat for students taking hot lunch, because he is known as a fisherman. He is also known for being one of the first disciples called to follow Jesus. On the school blog today, Mr. Waech explains the important lesson we can take from the life of St. Andrew, as we begin the season of Advent.
Third grade teacher Ann Taylor started teaching at Cabrini 25 years ago! We're excited to share some of her thoughts as we celebrate this milestone with her!
Inspired by this year's Eucharistic Revival, we've issued a challenge to our school families and staff to take an hour, sometime during the year, to pray in our Adoration Chapel. Here are some reflections and some great tips from participants.
