New in the 2023-24 school year, we are running our own hot lunch program! There are many benefits to doing this. The major one is that our lunch coordinator, Mrs. Holly Machi, is able to make adjustments to the menus based on student interest and still provide them with a lunch that is nutritious. Plus, we are not restricted by regulations on what we can and cannot serve. For example, if we want to hand out ranch packets for the veggies, we will be free to do so. This will also cut down on a great deal of paperwork that is required by the state government, which takes up a lot of administrative time. We also hope that you'll see an increase in the quality of the meals we offer.
With removing ourselves from the state/federal system, this will remove us from the Free and Reduced lunch program as well. This is a benefit we are not able to fund on our own, so hot lunch through us will need to be paid full price.
This is our first year doing a lunch program on our own, and it's a learning year for us. Please be patient as we work out the kinks and make up efficiencies. We have some lofty goals of trying to provide lunchroom foods our kids will love. We will continue communicating, and we will keep learning and growing!
The program is still very new, and we know you may have some questions, so we've put together a list of some of the more frequently asked questions for your convenience.

This year, we're using EZ School Apps for lunch payments. Note that online transactions will include a credit card fee. You can also bring a check or cash to the school office.
